Food Services & EZpay
Bexley Schools' Food Services Department focuses on quality nutrition, fulfilling meals including at least 50 percent fruit and vegetables, served in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The program works to expand students' tastes while also offering favorite foods. Middle and high school students can take up to four fruit or vegetable sides, an entrée, and milk, including a daily vegetarian soup and expanded salad bar.

Student Health
Each Bexley elementary school café features a Veggie Bar, with Romaine lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers and a fifth vegetable like cauliflower or celery, depending on what is season. The Veggie Bars help prepare children for a lifetime of healthy eating. Bexley is a “peanut- and tree nut-free zone” to safeguard students who have allergies.  Parents/guardians of students with allergies should see the Health Forms section on Bexley Schools' Health Clinics page.

Health and Wellness Committee
Bexley’s Health and Wellness Committee has been encouraging healthy behaviors in the school community since 2010. Volunteer committee members work with Food Services to offer monthly "Taste It Tuesdays" in school cafeterias.  They assisted with the cafes' roll out of Veggie Bars, revising the district’s health curriculum and supporting school initiatives, like adding bike racks at school buildings.  The group partnered with Bexley Recreation and Parks to produce a 2015 Bexley Family Fit and Fun Expo, with a series of fun activities to help students of all abilities to develop lifelong fitness and healthy habits.
EZpay Online Payment
Bexley Schools' parents/guardians can pay most student fees and charges via EZpay, by using a credit and/or debit card:
  • cafeteria accounts
  • athletics
  • field trips
  • school dances
Parents can also check a student’s recent café purchases.  Each transaction costs $2.00; EZpay allows multiple payments to be made at one time.  Because no personal or credit card information is kept online, the EZpay user must enter credit card information each time.  The system is available only via the Internet, not in Bexley’s cafes or offices; visit the EZpay online payment system website:
